Welcome Messages

Welcome messages play a vital role in making new members feel welcomed and engaged when they join your server. With the Invite Rewards Bot, you can set personalized welcome messages and embeds for your server, direct messages (DMs), and even vanity invite links.

Setting Up Welcome Messages

Step 1: Set the Welcome Channel

The welcome channel is where new members will be greeted upon joining your server. To specify a welcome channel, use the following command:

/welcome channel set [channel:#welcome]

To disable or remove the welcome channel, use:

/welcome channel disable

Text-Based Welcome Messages

Server Welcome Messages

The server welcome message will be sent to the designated welcome channel. To set a text-based welcome message for the server, use:

/welcome message set-server [message:"Your welcome message here"]

To remove the server welcome message, use:

/welcome message remove-server

To view the current server welcome message, use:

/welcome message view-server

DM Welcome Messages

DM welcome messages allow you to greet new members privately. To set a DM welcome message, use:

/welcome message set-dm [message:"Your welcome message here"]

To remove the DM welcome message, use:

/welcome message remove-dm

To view the current DM welcome message, use:

/welcome message view-dm

Vanity Welcome Messages

Vanity links are custom invite links, or links created for unresolved inviters. You can set specific messages for these cases.

To set a vanity welcome message, use:

/welcome message set-vanity [message:"Your vanity welcome message here"]

To remove the vanity welcome message, use:

/welcome message remove-vanity

To view the current vanity welcome message, use:

/welcome message view-vanity

Setting Welcome Message Embeds

To remove the server welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed remove-server

To view the current server welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed view-server

DM Welcome Embed

Just like the server welcome embed, you can set a personalized embed for DMs. To set the DM welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed set-dm

To remove the DM welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed remove-dm

To view the current DM welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed view-dm

Vanity Welcome Embed

For vanity invite links or unresolved inviters, you can set a customized embed. To set the vanity welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed set-vanity

To remove the vanity welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed remove-vanity

To view the current vanity welcome embed, use:

/welcome embed view-vanity

Using the Embed Builder Tool

To create your welcome message embeds visually, you can use the Embed Builder Tool provided by Atlas Bot. This tool makes it easy to create beautiful and custom embeds for your server.

Steps to create and use the embed:

  1. Go to the Embed Builder Tool.
  2. Use the tool to design your embed.
  3. Once you are happy with the embed design, click on "Embed JSON".
  4. Select "Show advanced" to access the embed JSON.
  5. Copy the JSON from the tool.
  6. Now, go to your Discord server and use the /welcome embed set-[location] or /farewell embed set-[location] command.
  7. Paste the JSON into the modal that pops up to set the embed.

The bot will automatically process and apply your custom embed to the specified location (server, DM, or vanity).

Example Configuration
